Tips For Flips
Front-End Alignment

Credit for this tip goes to Blue Skeen even though may serious catapulters may have discovered it themselves. Since only 1 out of 10 slingshot shooters know this shooting skill, it is valuable information to the other 9.

Precise Accuracy can be achieved through proper alignment of slingshot, pouch, and release hand. It makes no difference whether you hold your slingshot with tips of the fork vertical, horizontal, or at an angle to the ground. By holding your release hand in the same position as your slingshot, the bands will be parallel and any twisting of the bands and/or pouch will be eliminated.

This is one way to make your release smooth and improve your accuracy. In the next issue, Blue's tip on how to hold your release thumb will be the "Tip For Flips".
