Slingshot Inventor: Robert Blair

Robert Blair is a slingshot inventor who brought some of the most innovative ideas to the sport of slingshots during the 70's and 80's. I first became aware of his slingshots in the early 70's when I purchased his Pocket Socket slingshot from an ad I found in an archery magazine.

The Pocket Socket was a very unique device. The bands for the slingshot were one-piece and contained inside the slingshot fork and handle. The bands were lubricated with a special oil that let the bands stretch and move within the fork and handle with very little friction.
