National Slingshot Association

The National Slingshot Association was first formed in the 50's and was promoted by Wham-O Manufacturing Co. in Alhambra, CA. The NSA had members in every state in the union during this time. The NSA had its national headquarters in San Marino, Ca. A NSA regulation target was included with the purchase of a Wham-O slingshot.

This is all the information I have about the National Slingshot Association of the 50's. I would appreciate any and all information about this organization.

There was a revival of the National Slingshot Association in the late 70's and I was a member at that time. Chuck Saunders of Saunders Archery was one of the main promoters of the organization at this time. During the 70's Saunders Archery sponsored the Saunders U.S. Open Slingshot Tournament at the Desert Inn Archery Classic in Las Vegas.
